2024

2023

  • Built an overseas engineering team of 6 full time engineers to develop an innovative co-marketing web platform over 1.5 years.

    • Developed a strong software engineering culture to retain overseas engineers, while building motivation through engineering ladders, product ownership, and complex engineering tasks.

  • Led the development of the first ever professional Master’s program launched at a college in Canada. This project lasted 9 months and the resulting AI Master’s at Seneca Polytechnic is now in review with the government.

2022

  • Started part-time lecturing at Seneca Polytechnic.

  • Led the development of a brand new fintech product called SuperCash for Super, a 1 billion+ revenue company who has over 100 million annual users.

  • Developed roadmaps and conducted consultation at Google for internal engineers looking to build new and complex GCP products.

    • Have impacted over 100 engineers and 30+ teams within the organization.

2021

  • Served as fractional CTO for 2 years at Health Espresso, where I scaled the engineering organization to 10 engineers, architected, and oversaw the development of their SaaS suite.

    • Built a 2 year AI pipeline that saw mobile app AI integration drive usage on the platform by over 60% daily.

  • Developed an insurance application for PlushCare to provide users with a real-time snapshot of their current insurance coverage for healthcare.

    • The PlushCare application is a top 100 mobile application on the Apple App Store, with over 100,000 ratings.

2020

  • Created and led the first AI Graduate Certificate in Canada, launched at Durham College.

  • Launched, coordinated, and taught in the AI Graduate Certificate for 1 year.

  • Worked with leadership as an AI Consultant at MHS Assessments to create and help develop an AI strategy and roadmap to propel the company through their digitization age. This AI strategy directly aligns with their efforts to go from 50 mil ARR to 100 mil ARR.

2019

  • Created and led the first AI Graduate Certificate in Canada, launched at Durham College.

2018

  • Graduated from UOIT with a Master's in Computer Science (MSc.)
  • Began PhD in Computer Science, with a specification in AI and NLP at UOIT.
  • Began the creation of AIDI (Graduate Certificate in AI) at Durham College.
  • Led the development of the first AI parking kiosk for Precise ParkLink through a Durham College AI project.

2017

  • Hired as a full-time Professor at Durham College.

  • Co-founded the AI Hub at Durham College, to establish it as the first AI research centre at all colleges in Canada.

2016

  • Graduated from UOIT with a Bachelor of Information Technology Security (BITS)
    • Highest Distinction.
  • Hired as a Full-Stack Developer at Pitstop Inc.
  • Began Master's in Computer Science at UOIT.

2015

  • Landed an internship as a web developer at Konkussion Inc.
  • Created and taught my first course at Durham College (Computer Operating Systems).
  • Started researching Machine Learning and AI.

2014

  • Graduated from Durham College with Honours.
  • Began study in Information Technology Security at UOIT.
  • Hired as a part-time lab instructor at Durham College for 2 courses.

2013

  • Was amongst one of the first indie developers to learn and create a mobile game for the Android App Store, which gained over 13,000 downloads with no marketing and advertising budget.

2012

  • Began my studies at Durham College for Computer Systems Technician.
